Job Details

Mercury is hiring an **Organic Search Marketer (SEO/AEO)** to define its visibility strategy across traditional search engines and emerging AI answer engines, targeting founders and entrepreneurs.
The role requires a blend of deep technical SEO expertise, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) fluency, and an AI-native mindset to build strategies that drive qualified traffic and revenue for products like Mercury Business Credit Cards.
Responsibilities include owning the technical roadmap, partnering cross-functionally on content and engineering, building repeatable AI workflows, and running experiments to optimize for both human users and LLM crawlers.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of SEO experience (2-3 in AEO), strong commercial instincts, and a track record of influencing stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
The position offers a competitive salary range ($142,400–$197,800 USD depending on location) plus equity and benefits.
