Senior Software Developer in Test, Quality Platform Full-time Job

**MaintainX**, an AI-powered maintenance platform serving 14,000+ customers (recently valued via a $150M Series D and named to the Forbes Cloud 100), is hiring a **Senior SDET for its Quality Platform team**.

**The Role:** Unlike a traditional QA role, this position focuses on **building shared testing infrastructure, frameworks, and AI-assisted tooling** used by all engineering teams to ship high-quality software faster.
You will own the developer experience for testing, CI/CD integration standards, and the strategy for testing AI-powered product features.

**Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain the core quality platform and test automation frameworks (e.

, Playwright/Selenium).
* Build **AI-assisted test authoring tools** to reduce creation time.
* Design test harnesses for AI features (health checks, adversarial/resilience testing, quota monitoring).
* Eliminate systemic test debt and flakiness; improve build reliability across CI pipelines.
* Evaluate and integrate emerging AI testing tools into engineering workflows.

**Requirements:** * Deep experience building production-grade test frameworks and shared developer platforms.
* Strong software engineering fundamentals (writing/debugging production code).
* Expertise in CI/CD integration and diagnosing flaky tests.
* Hands-on experience using **AI development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code)** to accelerate workflows.
* **Expert-level English** required for daily collaboration with global leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

**Nice-to-Haves:** Experience with AI test harnesses, agentic/autonomous AI systems, observability for testing platforms, and large-scale multi-team platforms.
